Research published in the journal examines relevant problems in the <strong>analysis, design, implementation, and management of information systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>BISE has been the <strong>flagship journal <\/strong>of the German-language Information Systems community<strong> for more than 60 years<\/strong>. It is now one of the <strong>leading European journals<\/strong> in the field.\u00a0BISE is sponsored by the Section \u201cInformation Systems\u201d (Wirtschaftsinformatik, <a href=\"http:\/\/wi.vhbonline.org\/index.php?id=104\">WKWI<\/a>) of the German Association for Business Research (VHB) and the special interest group \u201cBusiness Informatics\u201d (<a href=\"http:\/\/fb-wi.gi.de\/\">GI-FB WI<\/a>) of the Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Informatik e. V. (GI) with more than 1200 members.\u00a0BISE is also an affiliated journal of the Association for Information Systems (<a href=\"http:\/\/start.aisnet.org\/\">AIS<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>Topics covered in BISE include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Business Process Management<\/li>\n<li>Decision Analytics and Data Science<\/li>\n<li>Digital Business Management and Digital Leadership<\/li>\n<li>Economics of Information Systems<\/li>\n<li>Enterprise Modeling and Enterprise Engineering<\/li>\n<li>Human Computer Interaction and Social Computing<\/li>\n<li>Information Systems Engineering and Technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The contents of this e-journal are available in print and via <a href=\"http:\/\/www.springerlink.com\/content\/1867-0202\/\">Springerlink<\/a>\u00a0for universities with authorization.
